Luiz joined Miller CPAs and Advisors in July 2025, bringing a unique background in healthcare and human resources to his role in audit. Before transitioning into accounting, he spent over three and a half years in nursing — first as an LPN and later as an RN — followed by two years in HR. This diverse experience gives Luiz a strong understanding of systems and processes, which he now applies to delivering thorough and reliable audit services. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Western Governors University and is eligible to sit for the CPA exam.
Originally from Brazil, Luiz lived in Wyoming for seven years before settling in Pensacola, FL. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, note-taking, and continuous learning. His personal motto is: “Look at the system, not the individual problem.” This mindset reflects his curiosity and commitment to understanding the bigger picture, whether in auditing or in life.
