Mel serves as People Operations Manager in the Administration practice at Miller CPAs & Advisors. With nearly two decades of experience in CPA firms at the international, regional, and local levels, Mel specializes in recruiting and process development. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University and has led initiatives to strengthen onboarding processes while improving hiring and performance management systems through strategic platform implementation.
Known for her ability to ask the right questions, share knowledge, and inspire others, Mel is passionate about helping individuals and teams discover their strengths and achieve their full potential. She is an active member of Fiesta Pensacola and Gulf Breeze Will Do, reflecting her commitment to community involvement.
In her free time, Mel enjoys hands-on projects like refinishing furniture and spending quality time with her husband, two daughters, and their goldendoodle, Milo. A fun fact about Mel: she can strike up a conversation with anyone and make a new connection in minutes. Her favorite motto is, “Empower others by finding what they do best and giving them space to succeed.”
