Brandon Athey began his public accounting career in January 2025 and brings a diverse professional background to Miller CPAs and Advisors. Prior to entering the accounting field, Brandon served five years in the United States Marine Corps, followed by two years in logistics management with the U.S. Postal Service. He also spent eight years as a small business owner, gaining firsthand insight into the challenges and opportunities faced by entrepreneurs. Brandon started his accounting journey with a national firm in Troy, Michigan, before relocating to Florida to continue his work in financial audit. He holds a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Michigan and focuses on audit services for a variety of clients.
Outside of work, Brandon is actively involved in homeless outreach throughout Pensacola, partnering with local organizations to support those in need. He also has over 20 years of experience in video production, including a decade in professional media, and continues to create content for churches, Christian ministries, musicians, and community initiatives. Brandon lives by the motto: “Change begins within.” He advocates for healthy living through a commitment to sobriety and wellness.
